Doutores das Aguas’ river expeditions comprise two major journeys across the Amazon region.
In Roraima, we navigate the Rio Negro for around 12 days, covering approximately 1,050 km. Along the way, we stop in nine riverside communities and reach about 37 surrounding communities.
On the Amazon River, the journey lasts an average of 13 days, covering roughly 1,300 km. With seven stops along the river, we reach 47 riverside communities.
These are intense days of navigation - but with every kilometer travelled, we carry stories, face challenges, and reaffirm a simple truth: navigating also means caring.
